Driving up north – Beit She’an

This morning we packed our bags and said a teary good bye to Jerusalem.

We drove up north through the West Bank and reviewed the differences between areas A,B, and C.

Our first stop was then the cities (both modern and ancient) of Beit She’an. But first, we have to take the tram.

Beit She’an is a fantastically well preserved and restored city in the shadow of a ‘Tel’, or layered hill, that offerers an insightful view into the daily life of those that lived here in ancient times. Don’t ask me when – I was busy typing when Mike told us.

One of the more impressive visions at Beit She’an is the unearthed theatre. We’re hoping someone will share the photos of Rabbi Cohen and I singing and being silly – the sound is really great! In the meantime, Mike took some group photos of all of us.
