ECC Vegas Night “Mask”erade

We look forward to a productive, healthy, and joyful start to the new year. Unfortunately, due to the significant increase in the number of people infected with the Omicron variant, and with the health of our families as a priority, we have decided to cancel our Vegas Night gala event. While we are disappointed, it is essential that we adhere to the best possible safety practices.
Our gala will take place on February 11, 2023, during the next school year.
If you have already purchased tickets or sponsorships, we ask you to consider donating all, or a portion, of your ticket and/or sponsorship amount. All proceeds will go to our playground fund, towards a new shade structure. Please let us know if you wish to receive a full refund. Or, if you have not yet purchased a ticket or sponsorship and wish to donate to our playground fund, please let us know.

We appreciate all your support!

A Message from:
Tamara Levin, Director Temple Beth Sholom ECC

Some of our favorite childhood memories involve the playground. Memories of dashing down the slide with a friend and building sandcastles with moats and canals in the sandbox. The joy of piling friends into a pretend car, and with onomatopoeic vrooms and beeps, careening towards parts unknown. No playground would be complete without a swing set. Learning how to pump your legs and holding on for dear life as you swing higher and higher is a rite of passage. The sensation of your body in flight is beyond compare.

Our playground boasts a wonderful swing set, but our little ones can only use it for short periods at a time. The sun beating down on them can be relentless. Even when slathered with sunscreen, the sun is dangerous.

The ECC is hosting a fundraiser to buy a large shade structure to cover our swing set and we need your help. Please consider attending our fundraiser (we would love to see you there) and/or sponsoring, donating, or underwriting some of our planned activities.

Thank you in advance for your support!
