Purim Sponsorship

Do you remember how you looked forward to the annual Purim Carnival held at your Temple, school or neighborhood event? Dressing up in costume, playing games of skill, and sampling carnival fare is forever embedded in our childhood memories. How about yours?

Purim is around the corner and this year’s committee is planning a grand themed event in our expansive campus with fun for all ages to be held on March 24, 2019. Games, activities, a silent auction and, of course, carnival food are all a part of our plans for the day. Our goal is to provide a great time for our youth, families and friends and it’s our major fundraising event of the year for both the TBS Early Childhood Center and Religious School. To help ensure the financial success of the event, we are reaching out to individuals and businesses to help underwrite some of the day’s activities. We are looking for sponsors in the following areas:

Carnival Games
— Megawire Game $100
— Hoop Zone $100
— Skeeball $100
— Roller Bowler $100
— 12ft. Hi Striker $150
• Cotton Candy $100
• Carnival Décor $180
• Bounce House $200
• Soda Fountain $200
• Prize Booth $300
• Snack Shack $500
• Hamentashen “filling” in any amount $ ______

Some suggestions to gather sponsorships include sponsoring as an individual or family, approaching members of your Chavurah, participating with other class parents to sponsor with you, soliciting local businesses, etc. Any help you can provide in finding sponsors will directly impact the carnival’s success.
Also, we are collecting donations for the silent auction. Gift certificates and vacation rentals for our silent auction are all welcome. (Ask businesses you frequent: restaurants, local stores, hair salon, dentist…)

We will be acknowledging all donors at the Carnival and in our on-line news. Temple Beth Sholom is a non-profit organization and all contributions are tax deductible to the extent of the law.

We know that together, we can make this year’s Purim Carnival the best ever and create wonderful memories for our children. Please say we can count on you to support our event.

Yours truly,

Matthew Griffin, V.P, Education
Gayle Lipson, Purim Carnival Chair
