Save the Date for Jewish World Watch Walk 2013

Update From Jewish World Watch…
November 7, 2012

Hopefully by now you all have Sunday, April 21, 2013 marked on your synagogue and religious school calendars for the annual Orange County Jewish World Watch Walk to End Genocide.  Thanks to your efforts last year, we have been able to embark on some amazing new projects.  We are in construction of the CAMME Home Away From Home orphanage that will provide a safe place to live for the 50 most vulnerable street children in one of the most dangerous regions in Congo.  We have been able to train and set up women in sustainable agriculture collectives who are now can provide for themselves and the medical care needed after having survived brutality and rape.  We have almost completely outfitted our 4th Darfuri refugee camp with solar cooking, keeping countless women and girls safe from attack when they go to collect firewood.  These are just a few of the many projects that are saving lives and restoring dignity to the victims of genocide and mass atrocities.  Thank you.
