We had a few hours to relax after Jaffa and then Moti took us to a Progressive (Reform) Jewish synagogue outside of Tel Aviv where we were met by Rabbi Stacey Blank and her congregation who hosted us for a lovely Tu B’shvat Seder with the 4 fruits and 4 cups of wine. They were having the Seder a week early on our account to give them an excuse for a pot luck dinner.
Afterwards we all got to chat with our hosts as we enjoyed dinner together an then it was time to go back to the hotel. There was an opportunity to go out later, being that this was Tel Aviv and by Jerusalem so many places we’re still open, but Heidi & I took advantage of the schedule to get a very good night’s sleep.
