No matter where you are from you’ll be sure to find that we are women from all walks of life and in all stages of life who come together to make friends and have fun while making a difference in our homes, our congregation, and our community.♥

Friendship | Involvement | Activities

For over 80 years, the Sisterhood of Temple Beth Sholom has been dedicated to providing women of all ages with a voice and presence within our congregation. We are a dynamic, diverse group of women from all walks of life who come together through our TBS Sisterhood. When you join Sisterhood, you’ll join our community of Sisters, make new friends and have fun while making a difference in our temple community.
 
Through our ongoing programs that include education, culture, volunteer opportunities, social activities, and enhancing spiritual growth, the TBS Sisterhood is devoted to:
  • Establishing and building lasting friendships.
  • Enriching Jewish life.
  • Accomplishing tikkun olam by supporting the ideals of Reform Judaism.
  • Supporting our temple youth
  • Having fun while making a difference in our temple

Ongoing Programs

The National Mah Jongg League donated $137 to our Sisterhood because Sandy Drummond collected more than 35 names.
 
Regular cards $14, large print $15.
 
We play mah jongg at the synagogue:
  • Mondays, 1:00 PM – 3:30 PM
  • Thursday evenings 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM.
