In anticipation of Valentine’s Day on February 14, our Shabbaton will explore different expressions of love from a Jewish perspective. Join us, and bring somebody you love because “Everbody Loves Somebody,” and, “Love is a Many Splendored Thing.”
Friday, February 9th
“What’s Love Got To Do With It?” In keeping with the theme of our Shabbaton, Rabbi Donnell will offer some reflections on our topic as part of the Kabbalat Shabbat Service with Cantor Reinwald.
Saturday, February 10th
“Rule the World With Love:” Torah Study with Rabbi Donnell on the portion Mishpatim (Exodus 21:37-24:18).
“Who Loves You?” Shabbat Morning Service with Cantor Reinwald and Rabbi Donnell.
Sunday, February 11th
9:00 – 10:25am, “Love Will Keep Us Together,” with Wendy Bocarsky. Another installment in the very popular “Confessions of a Jewish Couch Potato” series.
10:30 – Noon, “The Greatest Love of All,” with Rabbi Donnell. We will take a look at three exemplar relationships from Jewish tradition to see what we can learn about “true love.”
There is no charge for the classes but please RSVP so we know how many will be attending.
