Judaism is like a fine wine, it keeps getting better over time. It’s not all Mogen David or Manischewitz. From Rashi, the great Torah commentator of the 11th century whose profession was vintner, to the incredible wines of the Golan today, good wine is a very important part of Judaism. Wine plays a part of ritual life and life celebrations and goes great with cheese and a nosh! Israel is a land flowing with milk and honey and for this event, we will explore the place of wine and cheese in Judaism.

Join us as we discover new wines paired perfectly with cheese and layer it with Torah and Jewish tradition. We will taste 4 wines and 4 cheeses.

This program is partially funded by a grant from the Albert and Rhonda Weissman Arts Endowment Fund, a joint program of the Jewish Community Foundation Orange County and Jewish Federation & Family Services of Orange County.
